Minneapolis, October 5, 2018 — The Corporate and International practices at Cozen O’Connor represented Eurofins Scientific SE in the acquisition of TestAmerica Environmental Services LLC (TestAmerica) from JSTI Group. The transaction is valued at $175 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018, subject to the fulfillment of regulatory and customary closing conditions.
Eurofins Scientific is a scientific leader in food, environmental, and pharmaceutical products testing and in agroscience CRO services. It is also one of the independent market leaders in certain testing and laboratory services for genomics, discovery pharmacology, forensics, CDMO, advanced material sciences, and supporting clinical studies.
