Jonathan’s practice is concentrated in prosecuting complex commercial and tort litigation matters on a national basis in federal and state courts. Jonathan represents insurers and property owners pursuing claims arising out of catastrophic explosions, fires, floods, electrical failures, product malfunctions, product recalls and food sanitation events. Jonathan has successfully tried three cases to verdict in the Northern District of Illinois and Illinois state court.
Jon has published on subrogation opportunities regarding catastrophic explosions, mechanical boiler failures, historic hotel fires, landlord-tenant litigation and retroactive aggregate deductible recoveries.
Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan practiced in the Chicago office of a national law firm. Jonathan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois. Jonathan earned his law degree from Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington.
