Cara Kaplan

Associate

Cara concentrates her practice on business litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Cara served as a law clerk for the Honorable Karen M. Williams, Federal District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey. There, she assisted in case management, discovery disputes, and complex dispositive issues. She also conducted research concerning nuanced legal questions, reviewed pleadings, and drafted analyses related to pending motions. Before that, she was an associate with an AmLaw 100 firm, where she gained experience in litigation and financial restructuring.

Cara earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where she was an Editor of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. Cara earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Johns Hopkins University.
