Jean is an attorney in the Commercial Litigation Department and has extensive commercial litigation and insurance defense experience handling automobile and premises liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, product liability, medical malpractice, property damage, and construction actions. Before moving to Colorado, she practiced with various Chicago insurance defense firms concentrating in personal injury and product liability and defended civil cases on behalf of Fortune 500 companies.
Jean graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she also served as adjunct faculty as an instructor of Lawyering Skills III with an emphasis in preparing students in Appellate Advocacy and it's school-wide moot court competition.
She is admitted to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is also admitted to practice in Colorado and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jean holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign in business administration with a concentration in organizational behavior.
Jean is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Women’s Bar Association, Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, and the Illinois Bar Association. She mentors University of Denver Law School students. Jean enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking and fishing.
