Takeaways From FDA's Relaxed Rules For Making Face Masks

Denise Bense and Karl Neumann published an article to Law360 discussing the FDA's guidance policy for face masks and respirators during the coronavirus pandemic. At its core, the policy’s purpose is to ease compliance requirements that manufacturers would typically have to meet before distributing masks. In the article they also explain that companies attempting to manufacture or distribute face masks should not only review the entirety of the FDA’s guidance but also be familiar with other FDA compliance measures that may still be applicable.
