Michael Fernández Appointed Vice Chair of Two ABA International Law Section Committees

Michael Fernández, a member of Cozen O'Connor's Commercial Litigation Department, has been appointed vice chair for programs of both the American Bar Association (ABA) International Law Section's Latin America and Caribbean Committee and the ABA International Law Section's Mexico Committee for the 2026-2027 bar year. In these leadership roles, Michael will help develop and organize committee programming, including webinars, educational initiatives, and conference programming for the ABA International Law Section. 

The ABA International Law Section is a global network of legal professionals focused on international legal developments, cross-border business, dispute resolution, trade, and public policy. As vice chair for programs for both committees, Michael will work alongside committee leadership to develop substantive programming and facilitate engagement among practitioners from the United States, Latin America, Mexico, and other jurisdictions worldwide.

Michael focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, international disputes, and cross-border matters. He is an active participant in numerous legal and professional organizations and regularly advises clients on international business and Latin America-related legal matters. His appointments further reflect his strong involvement in the international legal community and his commitment to fostering dialogue and professional development among lawyers practicing in the Americas.
