Abramonte is co-chair of the firm’s Patent Prosecution Practice and focuses on patent procurement and patent portfolio strategizing in electrical, software, electromechanical engineering, and medical device-related technologies. In addition, Frank provides services in licensing, diligence exercises, and validity and infringement studies and opinions, as well as related litigation counseling. He counsels a range of businesses, from established public companies through early and late-stage startup businesses.
Engle-Hardy focuses on intellectual property disputes and litigation in a variety of industries, including consumer packaged goods, sporting goods, videogames, alcohol, food and beverage products, luxury goods, professional sports, pharmaceuticals, furniture and lighting, clothing and cosmetics, cannabis, casino and real estate development, franchise, and fine art. Noelle has experience at all stages of litigation, from obtaining Anton Piller Orders and interlocutory injunctive relief to successfully arguing multiple appeals before the Federal Court of Appeal.
Fisher focuses his practice on complex electrical, mechanical, and computer software patent litigation. He is an experienced first-chair attorney with extensive experience in the federal district courts, in § 337 proceedings before the International Trade Commission (ITC), in post-grant review proceedings, including AIA proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Tom has argued numerous times before the Federal Circuit on appeals from district court, the ITC, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. His litigation experience includes matters directed to electrical and mechanical technologies such as software, encryption, GPS systems, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) technology, mechanical devices, medical devices, and aseptic packaging systems.
Gale is co-chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice and focuses his practice in the area of intellectual property litigation and counseling. He is a registered patent attorney with 40 years of experience and is Board Certified in Intellectual Property by the Florida Bar, an AAA Arbitrator, and the former inaugural chair of the IP Board Certification Committee. Jim has handled hundreds of cases involving patents, theft of trade secrets, restrictive covenants, trademarks, unfair competition, and internet disputes. He has appeared in over 400 federal cases in more than 48 federal district and circuit courts, as well as handled hundreds of injunctions in over 35 different states around the nation.
Gulia has counseled clients concerning a broad range of intellectual property issues, negotiated trademark licenses, purchases, and consent agreements, and litigated numerous trademark, copyright, anti-counterfeiting, domain name, unfair competition, trade secrets, rights of publicity and privacy, and First Amendment cases for various major media corporations, entertainers, luxury-goods makers, fashion companies, international store chains, and consumer products companies.
Hardy is chair of the firm’s Canadian Intellectual Property Practice and a strategic business adviser who has assisted in the acquisition, licensing, and marketing of some of the world’s most famous trademarks and IP assets. Shane is one of a select few Canadian practitioners recognized for his experience in commercial transactions regarding intellectual property assets and is frequently called upon by brand owners around the world to assist with their international acquisition and licensing plans. Shane has assisted clients with cross-border acquisitions where target entities have an intellectual property focus and is a leader of the firm's luxury law protection team.
Marbury is co-chair of the firm’s Copyright Practice and focuses his practice on intellectual property and business litigation. His intellectual property litigation practice includes patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation in diverse technological areas across many industries. Hugh has more than two decades of experience utilizing his considerable knowledge to counsel clients on critical challenges facing their businesses. She is frequently engaged to consult and advise in each of these areas. Her day-to-day practice focuses on trademark and trade dress, fields in which Camille is a recognized national and international leader. She is ongoing global trademark counsel to Fortune 500 companies and manages massive client trademark portfolios, oversees IP strategy and new registrations, monitors usage 24/7, and leads enforcement efforts to shut down any improper use or infringement.
