Patrick J. O'Connor to Receive Honorary Degree from Villanova

Cozen O’Connor co- founder Patrick J.  O’Connor will be awarded an honorary degree from Villanova University, in recognition for both his personal and professional achievements, as well as the generosity and commitment he has shown to the broader  Villanova  community. Since 1985, O'Connor has been a member of the law school’s board of consultors, and in 2002, received the Gerald Abraham Alumni Association Award for Service to Villanova University School of Law. In addition, the Patrick J. O’Connor Endowed Scholarship, established by O'Connor’s colleagues in his name, and to which he has been a key contributor, has given countless students educational opportunities otherwise impossible. In the words of the Villanova University President Rev. Peter M. Donohue, O.S.A., "Patrick’s distinguished dedication, commitment and generosity exemplify the ideals for which Villanova stands."

The degree will be conferred at the School of Law Commencement on  May 17, 2013.​​
