Kelly Zerillo will speak on the panel “Planning and Disposing of Difficult and Dangerous Tangibles“ at the American Bar Association’s 36th Annual Real Property, Trust, and Estate Law Section National CLE Conference. Kelly will discuss the challenges of planning for estates with difficult and sometimes dangerous items such as firearms, hazardous taxidermy, restricted or illegal materials, and works of art stuck in market purgatory due to changes in scholarship or the law. The panel will explain how to spot these items and highlight what questions to ask your client to craft bespoke solutions to allow the asset to get out of the “danger zone” and close the estate.
