Neil Quartaro will speak on three panels at the New York State Bar Association International Section 2024 Seoul Global Conference. This conference, hosted in a different city each year, allows American and foreign colleagues to meet, network, and expand their international practices.
Neil will moderate the “Judicial Plenary” session. This session will bring together jurists from different jurisdictions, including the United States and Korea, to discuss how to embrace the new developments in the practice of law and the ethical aspects of practice before the courts. Neil and the panelists will cover practical and ethical brief writing practices, court presentation and demeanor, and share tips and tricks that can assist counsel in making arguments that will be well received by the court.
Neil will speak on the “The Transformation of Dispute Resolution in the Asia-Pacific Region: Changes & Challenges Part 1” panel. He and the panelists will discuss changes in the international dispute resolution landscape due to technology and the challenges of enforcing foreign awards or judgments.
Additionally, Neil will speak on the “The Transformation of Dispute Resolution in the Asia-Pacific Region: Changes & Challenges Part 2” panel. Neil and the panelists will provide practical insights into the United States, Korea, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia on issues such as evidence gathering to help foreign investors and international lawyers navigate the dispute resolution landscape in these jurisdictions.
