State AGs Mean Business: What 2024 Elections Mean for Companies

In this article for Reuters/WestLaw, Ketan Bhirud and Emily Yu analyze the potential impact the upcoming AG elections may have on businesses.

Having whetted her appetite for the world of state attorneys general as a law clerk in Cozen O'Connor's State AG practice, Emily deepened her knowledge of the functions and authority of AGs in the Arkansas Attorney General's Office, where she worked in the Office of the Solicitor General for a year. There, she gained experience writing state Supreme Court and multistate amici briefs, as well as participating in federal district court proceedings.

In addition to her experience in the Arkansas AG's office, Emily has worked as a judicial clerk for several judges, including the Honorable Chief Judge Lavenski R. Smith in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Honorable Judge Brian S. Miller in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
