Russell is a seasoned transactional real estate attorney who represents tenants, landlords, investors, and property owners in complex commercial real estate transactions. He has particular experience handling headquarters leases, major office leasing matters, ground leases, sale-leaseback transactions, ground-up construction projects, and other high-value occupancy and development projects. He has represented clients (both landlord and tenant) in leasing transactions involving iconic New York properties such as 2, 3, and 4 World Trade Center, Hudson Yards, 9 West 57th Street, 550 Madison Avenue, 11 Madison Avenue, and 237 Park Avenue.
Russell earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he served as an editor of the St. John's Law Review and received the St. Thomas More Institute for Legal Research Scholarship. He earned his B.A. from Binghamton University.
