Andrew focuses his practice on zoning and land use issues. He has experience representing clients on land use and zoning matters before the New York City Department of City Planning, the Board of Standards and Appeals, and the New York City Council. Andrew's work has included counseling clients on development strategies, analyzing zoning and land use regulations, and drafting and negotiating zoning lot development agreements, easements, license agreements, and related real estate documents.
Additionally, Andrew brings experience representing commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) and balance sheet lenders in commercial real estate financings, including drafting loan documents, conducting due diligence, reviewing title, zoning, survey, and organizational documents, and analyzing leases and other property-related agreements.
Andrew earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, Andrew served as a notes editor and staff editor of the Cardozo Law Review. He received his B.A. from St. Cloud State University.
