Justin focuses his practice on construction law, representing stakeholders in a wide range of construction disputes and project-related matters. His experience includes representing general contractors, public entities, and material suppliers in connection with public and private projects, including matters involving major construction and infrastructure companies with national and international footprints.
Justin’s construction experience includes matters arising from public transportation projects, sanitation districts, school districts, housing developments, and other complex construction projects. He regularly handles construction-related claims and remedies involving mechanics liens, stop payment notices, payment bond claims, performance bond claims, contractor licensure questions, and related disputes.
Justin has experience managing all phases of state and federal litigation, from early case strategy through resolution, including drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations and settlement negotiations, appearing at hearings, and briefing courts on discovery disputes and other contested matters.
In addition to his construction litigation experience, Justin has experience in products liability litigation and immigration matters. His immigration experience includes assisting with adjustment of status applications, U visa applications, and requests involving in absentia orders in immigration court. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Justin has translated client documents from Chinese to English for submission to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Justin earned his J.D. in 2024 from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was a member of the Business Law Society and served as a student representative in the Gould School of Law Immigration Clinic. He received his B.A. with high distinction from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
