Shivani Shah

Associate

Shivani focuses her practice on subrogation matters. She has experience in propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, handling mediations, conducting site inspections, and presenting in court.

Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Shivani was a litigation associate with a law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, representing insurer clients in civil litigation matters. Before that, she gained experience as a workers' compensation attorney and also served for a year as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Angela M. Eaves of Harford County Circuit Court in Maryland.

Shivani holds a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law school, she interned with the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office and the Human Trafficking Prevention Project in Baltimore. She also holds a B.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill and is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
