Marisa Saber handles a variety of cases and arbitrations involving fires and explosions, construction defects, energy losses, mechanical system failures, contract disputes, and has a special interest in product liability issues. Marisa is licensed in Illinois and Missouri state court and a number of federal courts. She also handles cases in other states, including Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, and Wisconsin and has tried cases to verdict in Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota.
Marisa received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Ohio University, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her law degree from DePaul University College of Law, cum laude, where she served as an editor of the DePaul Law Review. She also served as a summer associate with the firm.
Marisa enjoys working with her local community and is an adult literacy tutor for Literacy Chicago, a Chicago-based nonprofit that focuses on empowering individuals to achieve greater self-sufficiency through language and literacy instruction. Her favorite pastimes include cheering for her hometown Cleveland sports teams — especially the Cavs; hiking and biking; and seeing her favorite musicians perform live.
