Jacqueline Promislo

Jacqueline focuses her practice on high profile and high exposure catastrophic casualty litigation and complex tort litigation, involving product liability, negligence and premises liability, defamation, employment discrimination, commercial litigation and breach of contract actions. She has significant experience handling products liability cases involving life science matters for medical device manufacturers, as well as various other life science matters, including the representation of a major hospital system with respect to analysis and defense of life science claims.  Jacqueline also serves as lead counsel in the investigation and pre-litigation stages of major construction casualty and products liability matters, involving issues such as alleged construction product defects, human factor, and OSHA safety issues.

Jacqueline is experienced in all phases of litigation, including extensive deposition experience, court appearances, bench and jury trials, arbitrations, mediations, witness preparation, and jury analysis. To fully assess matters at every stage and thoughtfully advise clients, she immerses herself in matters, strategizing from the initial stages, beginning with thorough investigations and cause analysis through trial.

Jacqueline practiced at Cozen O'Connor from 1994 until 2007, and returned in 2017 after owning and operating her own independent business for ten years.  As a business owner, she continued to use her legal background to represent her company in all aspects of the business, from contracts and negotiations to employment-related court hearings.

Jacqueline double majored at McGill University where she received her bachelor's degree with high honors in art history and political science. While attending McGill, she counseled students on the school's crisis hotline and was a member of Amnesty International, as well as the McGill Film Society. Jacqueline earned her law degree, cum laude, from Tulane University Law School where she represented both juveniles and adults in criminal matters, as well as neglect and abuse cases.
