Jacob advises clients on a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including leasing, financings, purchases, sales and joint ventures across various asset classes as well as advising clients on the tax implications of such transactions. He has represented nationally recognized banks, real estate and pension funds, and real estate investment trusts.

Prior to joining the firm, Jacob was a tax associate with a Big Four accounting firm, where he advised clients on fund formation and structuring, tax qualification issues, and federal tax due diligence relating to real estate mergers and acquisitions.

Jacob earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University’s Smeal College of Business. He earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where he was an editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and an executive board member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society. He earned his master of laws from UCLA School of Law with a specialization in Tax.
