Adam Poliner

Associate

Adam’s practice is focused on construction law and government contracts.  He leverages his architectural and legal experience to counsel clients in all phases of public and private construction projects and dispute resolution processes.  Adam’s clients have included project owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other construction professionals across the country.  He navigates clients through challenges in project management, bid protests, litigation, arbitration, appeals, agency appeals, and mechanics’ liens claims. 

Clients rely on Adam’s candid and strategic advice providing project counsel during procurement, design and construction, preparing and evaluating claims, or participating in post-project dispute resolution.  Adam’s primary goal is to achieve the best possible business result for the client.

Adam maintains an active pro bono practice, most recently representing veterans before the Board of Veterans Appeals and U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Before practicing law, Adam practiced architecture for three years at a highly-regarded Washington, DC architecture firm, where he participated in designing office towers, multi-residential buildings, museums, and schools.  His architecture experience gives him a unique understanding of the needs of his clients.  Prior to joining the firm, Adam was an associate with an international Am Law 100 firm, where he gained commercial litigation experience in the areas of construction, insurance, and trade secret disputes.

Adam earned his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he was associate editor of Penn Law’s Journal of International Law, and a Certificate of Business Management from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.  Adam earned his bachelor of science degree in architecture from the University of Virginia.
