Andrea has an established track record of successfully resolving workplace disputes for her clients inside and out of the courtroom. She regularly represents clients in wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints, and post-employment litigation matters, including those arising from competition, solicitation, and misuse of confidential information.
Andrea's clients, who hail from various industries, including mining, construction, hospitality, finance, and technology, also seek her advice on employment agreements, termination decisions, occupational health and safety, corporate policy, and employment-related issues arising in business transactions. Additionally, Andrea aids her clients in resolving business disputes arising from shareholder and partnership agreements, development projects, commercial leases, and negligence and fraud. She is an experienced trial lawyer and has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. She also routinely resolves disputes for her clients through settlement, mediation, and arbitration.
Andrea earned her law degree from the University of Alberta and her undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University, where she attended on an athletic scholarship for volleyball.
