Rainey's practice includes assisting clients with various transactional corporate and financial matters. She approaches each transaction with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset. She strives to provide unique advice tailored to each client’s specific goals. Her experience spans multiple industries, including manufacturing, software, professional services, and insurance.
Rainey joined Cozen O'Connor in 2026 along with her colleagues from Moss & Barnett. Before entering private practice, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Lisa Fair McEvers of the North Dakota Supreme Court.
Rainey earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where she was a member of the North Dakota Law Review. During law school, she worked as a legislative intern for the North Dakota Legislative Council and as an extern for the U.S. Federal District Court of North Dakota. She holds a B.S. in business management, graduating summa cum laude from North Dakota State University.
