Andrew McGuinness is a committed and detail-oriented associate, supporting the firm's litigation practice groups as well as its pro bono efforts. During law school, Andrew gained experience as a summer intern with the Naval Academy JAG Corps and as a summer associate with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Andrew earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he was a managing editor for the Villanova Law Review. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a degree in oceanography and was commissioned as an officer in 2015. Before attending law school, he served six years of active duty on naval ships as a Strike Officer, Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer, Future Operations Officer, and Legal Officer. Andrew will join the NAVY JAG Corps in January 2025, with his first duty station in Yokosuka, Japan.
