With a background in public affairs, strategic communications, coalition building and legislative policy, Kaitlyn works to advance client priorities before Congress and the administration and devise strategies that help move the needle.

Prior to joining Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies, Kaitlyn was a director at public affairs firm FP1 Strategies, where she executed grassroots and earned media advocacy campaigns for trade associations and corporate clients across a wide range of issue areas, led the firm’s writing and messaging efforts across several public affairs accounts and helped grow the firm's crisis communications capabilities.

Before that, Kaitlyn was a legislative assistant at one of the country’s largest single issue organizations, where she managed legislative strategy and communications across 26 states and coordinated the organization’s endorsements in hundreds of state races. Kaitlyn began her career as a research assistant at American Continental Group, tracking and monitoring congressional and agency hearings for clients across the financial services, energy, immigration, defense, and health care space.

Kaitlyn graduated cum laude from the George Washington University with a B.A. in political science, public policy focus, and a minor in international affairs.

Kaitlyn is a resident of Washington, D.C. and an active member of the Junior League of Washington.
