His practice focuses on counseling and defending clients across the insurance, technology, consumer products, and entertainment industries. He maintains a nationwide litigation practice, regularly appearing in trial, appellate, and bankruptcy courts across the country.
Specifically, Fred brings extensive experience in complex insurance-related litigation. He frequently advises insurers on intricate coverage and extracontractual liability disputes involving primary, umbrella, and excess liability policies, and he has a proven track record of successfully litigating and resolving such disputes. He has extensive experience in defending the interests of insurers in major insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings involving substantial underlying claims, successfully negotiating settlements, policy buybacks, and channeling injunctions.
Prior to joining Cozen O'Connor, Fred was a partner in the Philadelphia office of another full-service international law firm. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his undergraduate degree from The College of New Jersey.
