Travis Joyce

Associate

Travis concentrates his practice on insurance defense litigation, including wrongful death, premises liability, toxic torts, dram shop, and other third-party claims, as well as appellate advocacy relating to such claims. He also handles third-party construction site injury litigation, and construction defect and delay claims. Travis is a knowledgeable and tireless researcher and has experience with complex written discovery requests and responses, in addition to guiding clients through depositions, motions, and mediations.

Prior to joining the firm, Travis was an associate with two Charlotte, North Carolina-based firms where he took a leading role in many matters and honed his legal writing, oral advocacy, and client support skills.

Travis earned his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Virginia Tech and his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was a senior editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy.
