Amorie advises public and private clients in complex environmental litigation, regulatory compliance, permitting, and transactional matters nationwide. She represents utilities, real estate and data center developers, and commercial entities in various industries before environmental and energy regulators, including the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Departments of Environmental Protection and the California Air Resources Board and State Water Resources Control Board.
Drawing on her prior experience with utility and generation companies and her background in construction law, Amorie brings a practical understanding of utility operations and energy infrastructure. In addition to her litigation practice, she regularly counsels clients on emerging environmental and ESG issues, including climate disclosure requirements, environmental justice regulations, and chemical management and reporting under various state and federal regimes. Her experience with high-profile litigation matters is also an asset to companies facing public scrutiny over environmental compliance.
Amorie is an active member of Cozen O’Connor’s Women’s Initiative, the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Environmental and Energy Law Section, the Energy Association of Pennsylvania, and is a regional governor for Region IV and board member of the Hispanic National Bar Association. She is an author on environmental and energy-related topics and has been published and quoted in Pratt’s Energy Law Report and E&E News.
Amorie received her J.D., cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law and clerked with the Honorable Petrese B. Tucker of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Honorable Malachy E. Mannion of the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania.
