Jared concentrates his practice on insurance defense litigation, including professional liability litigation and long-term care litigation. He frequently advises insurers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and other entities connected to the long-term care insurance community, including in the area of fraud prevention. Jared also has experience counseling insurers in regulatory and other complex litigation matters.
Before joining the firm, Jared gained experience representing medical providers and facilities — including doctors, hospitals, and long-term and post-acute care facilities — in medical professional liability cases. In that role, he assisted with risk mitigation strategies, claims resolution, and litigation when necessary. Jared also has experience defending automobile insurance companies in first- and third-party litigation, as well as bad faith litigation.
Jared received his J.D. from Villanova University's Charles Widger School of Law with a concentration in Litigation & Dispute Resolution. While at Villanova, he was a member of the national trial team and the Chairman of Villanova’s Moot Court Board. He earned his B.S. from Penn State University.
