Elizabeth Hall

Associate

Elizabeth concentrates her practice on complex subrogation claims, managing all aspects from initiation of the claim through resolution. She has extensive experience retaining experts, deposing witnesses, developing litigation strategy, and negotiating settlements.

Prior to joining Cozen O’Connor, Elizabeth served as in-house counsel for a global insurer, handling property subrogation claims in excess of $10,000,000, including claims involving fire, water damage, structural/construction-related damages. Before that, she was a litigation associate with a regional firm in Philadelphia, handling a large caseload of complex personal injury claims. She began her career as an associate in the property/subrogation group of a full-service international firm, where she handled complex subrogation claims and gained experience drafting complaints, briefs, and motions and attending arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and hearings at court.

After earning her B.A. from Lafayette College, Elizabeth earned her J.D. from Duquesne University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. During law school, she served as a judicial law clerk with the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
