Peter is a litigator with 25 years of experience obtaining resolution of complex insurance matters. He represents and counsels insurers on insurance coverage, catastrophic injury, products liability, premises liability, general liability, and umbrella/excess liability claims.
In addition to his litigation experience, Peter brings significant experience directing and executing litigation and resolution strategies for leading national insurance companies. In these roles, he managed nationwide caseloads of high-exposure complex and catastrophic excess claims, evaluated coverage issues, drafted coverage position letters, developed excess claims handling protocol, and worked closely with underwriters.
Peter holds an Associate in Risk Management designation through the American Institute for Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters. He is also a Certified Litigation Management Professional and Certified Claims Medication Professional through the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. He earned his B.S. from Northern Michigan University and his J.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School (formerly the John Marshall Law School), where he was an executive board member of the Journal of Computer and Information Law.
