Jake focuses his practice on strategic risk and complex litigation.
He has experience representing clients in premises liability, products liability, commercial litigation, labor and employment, construction, and catastrophic personal injury matters in both state and federal courts, in addition to arbitration. He has successfully handled multimillion-dollar disputes, securing significant settlements in complex commercial matters for plaintiffs, as well as full dispositive relief for companies and individuals he was representing.
Before entering the legal field, Jake was a widely-read national news reporter. He draws on his journalism experience to deliver exceptional written work product and thorough, client-focused advocacy.
Jake earned his J.D., cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law. During law school, he served as a legal intern with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office - Human Trafficking Unit. He received his B.S. in journalism from the University of Florida, where he was named the president and assistant captain of the ice hockey team.
