Stephen is a corporate lawyer representing clients in a variety of transactional matters, including private equity mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, and public securities transactions.
Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Stephen was an associate in the corporate and securities practice group of another Am Law 100 firm. There, he gained experience with buy- and sell-side M&A diligence and drafting transaction and corporate governance-related documents, as well as advising clients on compliance with corporate formalities and partnership agreements.
Stephen earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he graduated Order of the Coif and was a member of The George Washington Law Review. During law school, he interned with the Department of Justice's Office of Professional Responsibility and the Alamance County District Attorney's Office. Stephen earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
