John Cusker

Associate

John is a well-rounded associate with excellent research and drafting skills. He gained experience at the firm as a summer associate in 2023. 

John earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he was an Executive Articles and Symposia Editor for the Journal of Law and Policy, a board member for the Courtroom Advocacy Project in Brooklyn, and a volunteer coordinator with Sanctuary for Families working to match indigent clients with law student volunteers. He also served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Judge Kiyo A. Matsumoto of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. During his 2L year, John was a legal intern with the Exoneration Initiative and during his 3L year, he was a legal intern with the criminal defense practice of the Legal Aid Society. 

John earned his B.A. in history and philosophy, politics, and law, from Binghamton University. He is an Eagle Scout and continues to be involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
