Zachary Cooper

Zachary focuses his practice on subrogation & recovery for large commercial property losses.

Before joining the firm, Zachary practiced at boutique litigation firms in downtown Toronto, where he made frequent appearances before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and acted on a variety of insurance and commercial litigation matters involving construction defects, fraud, product liability, contractual disputes, fire and/or flood losses, transportation claims, and insurance coverage disputes.

Zachary is a graduate of Queen’s University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Zachary studied commerce at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, and was selected as one of five students for the university’s inaugural B.Com/JD dual degree class.

Zachary is passionate about teaching, and has worked as an adjunct faculty member at Conestoga College, where he taught business law to senior undergraduate students.
