Lauren Cohen

Associate

Lauren is part of the firm's Global Insurance Department. She has experience handling claims administration and management of professional liability, employment practices liability, and directors' and officers' insurance claims for international and domestic insurers from inception to resolution. Lauren works directly with clients and outside counsel to resolve disputes and advise on the resolution of claims. She has experience conducting coverage investigations, evaluating resolution strategies, providing reserve recommendations to insurers, and participating in mediation

Prior to joining the firm, Lauren was an associate with an international full-service firm where she focused on professional liability.

Lauren earned her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. While in law school, Lauren interned with a boutique family law firm and with Cardozo's Divorce Mediation Clinic, where she gained valuable experience in all stages of litigation, led mediation sessions, and drafted settlement agreements.
