Robert handles a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters in federal and state court with a focus on appellate litigation. At the appellate level, Rob has represented clients before the federal circuit courts, state intermediate appellate courts, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Rob has also argued an appeal before the Pennsylvania Superior Court. At the trial court level, Rob’s practice includes contract disputes, antitrust litigation, class actions, multidistrict litigation, and other complex business disputes. Rob has tried both jury and non-jury cases to decision.
Rob also maintains an active pro bono practice, including serving clients in voting rights cases and in seeking gender-conforming name changes. Prior to joining the firm as an associate, he participated in the Cozen O’Connor Summer Associate Program for two summers.
Rob received his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School, where he graduated with high honors and was a Rubenstein Scholar. He is also a member of the Order of the Coif. Rob was the founding executive articles editor of The University of Chicago Business Law Review and vice president of the Hinton Moot Court Board. Prior to law school, Rob earned his M.A. in economics from The University of Pennsylvania and his B.S. in mathematical sciences and economics, summa cum laude, from Binghamton University.
