Lauren Carella

Director of Legal Recruiting

As the firm’s director of legal recruiting, Lauren is responsible for the firm-wide recruiting and hiring efforts for lateral associates, staff attorneys, entry-level associates, and summer associates. In this role, Lauren works closely with the Hiring and Diversity Committees to design and implement the firm’s recruiting and retention initiatives.

Lauren joined the firm in 2017 as counsel in the Institutional Response Group, and prior to joining Cozen O’Connor, she practiced law at another large Philadelphia firm. In her practice, Lauren counseled clients in the education industry and conducted investigations relating to sexual harassment. Before working in the private sector, Lauren served as an assistant district attorney in Philadelphia and York counties.

Lauren is an active volunteer child advocate attorney for the Support Center for Child Advocates. She earned her undergraduate degree from DeSales University and her law degree from Widener University – Delaware Law School.
