Jeffrey is an attorney in the firm's Institutional Response Group. He uses his experience as a prosecutor to skillfully and thoughtfully counsel institutions through investigations into sexual and gender-based harassment and violence, child abuse, safety and security issues, and other forms of misconduct.
Jeffrey brings over a decade of experience working on behalf of victims of crime. This experience includes seven years as an assistant attorney general in the Human Trafficking Division of the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General where he represented the attorney general on the Massachusetts Statewide Child Fatality Review team. He also served for six years as an assistant district attorney in the Child Protection Unit of the Middlesex District Attorney's Office, where he conducted mandated reporter trainings for staff members of schools and child care institutions.
Jeffrey also teaches a course on the Neurobiology of Trauma for Criminal Justice Professionals, which aids law enforcement, advocates, mental health counselors, and prosecutors in developing trauma-informed approaches to their work.
Jeffrey earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and his law degree from the New England School of Law.
