Ivory is a former federal prosecutor and an experienced litigator who concentrates his practice on complex corporate and business litigation, white-collar and criminal proceedings, congressional and regulatory investigations, securities litigation, and antitrust litigation. Ivory also has a rapidly growing combat sports practice in which he represents professional boxers and mixed martial arts fighters, drafting and negotiating agreements on behalf of fighters with managers, agents, promoters, networks, and sponsors. Ivory represents fighters, promotional companies, and networks in contract disputes and represents parties under investigation or facing civil or criminal proceedings regarding alleged violations of sports gambling statutes and regulations.
Having recently served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Ivory's clients benefit from his unique combination of public and private experience. As an AUSA, Ivory investigated and prosecuted individual and corporate defendants in federal court in a range of offenses, including bribery, money laundering, tax crimes, theft of government property, identity theft, violent crimes, sex and narcotics trafficking, kidnapping, arson, and murder. He worked closely with several state and federal law enforcement agencies, including DHS, FBI, ICE, IRS, DOS, and more.
Ivory served as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable Theodore McKee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia and the Honorable Sterling Johnson, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn.
Ivory earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University, where he was the managing editor of articles for Hofstra's Labor & Employment Law Journal. He earned his B.A. from Five Towns College. Outside of his professional life, Ivory is passionate about boxing, mixed martial arts, fitness, mentorship, and ministry.
