Philadelphia Zoo Names Dr. Jo-Elle Mogerman as Next President

On Tuesday, the Philadelphia Zoo announced Dr. Jo-Elle Mogerman, current director of the Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park in Missouri, as its next president. Mogerman will make history succeeding current President Vikram Dewan in October as both the first Black person and first woman to lead the venerable institution in its 164-year history.
