Elizabeth Margolis Named a Board Director of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association

DALLAS – February 17, 2026 - Elizabeth Margolis, an associate in the Global Insurance Department, has been named a 2026 Board Director of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association (DHBA). The DHBA is a leading organization dedicated to promoting the social, economic, educational, and civic advancement of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex Hispanic community by making the legal system more accessible to the Hispanic community and more responsive to its needs.

As a board director, Elizabeth will attend and actively participate in DHBA board meetings and promote the organization’s events, social programs, and continuing legal education (CLE) offerings, and serve as a visible ambassador for the organization. Elizabeth also serves as the board liaison to the DHBA CLE & Member Engagement Committee, which organizes and provides educational and professional development events for DHBA members and the broader legal community.

Board Directors play an active role in DHBA member recruiting, championing the association’s events, and fundraising for the annual gala. Elizabeth is a member of the DHBA gala planning committee and is the association’s representative to the Dallas Bar Association’s Equality Committee, which is a collaboration of minority bar associations dedicated to promoting equality and inclusion across the legal profession.

Elizabeth focuses her practice on insurance law and has experience drafting dispositive motions, briefs, and discovery responses for clients and attending hearings, inspections, depositions, and mediations. She has handled cases from school law to premises liability and has experience in policy review and trademark licensing.
