Sarah Krissoff, a member of the firm’s White Collar Defense & Investigations group, spoke with Business Insider about the criminal trial of crypto mogul Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), who is accused of running a multibillion-dollar fraud at cryptocurrency exchange FTX. Sarah discussed the pros and cons of SBF’s pending decision to take the witness stand. "If a conviction seems almost inevitable based on what's presented in the courtroom so far, he has probably not that much to lose by testifying," said Sarah. "Because it does humanize him in a way to the jury that can be very effective. It's particularly complicated for him because of how much he's talked before. So he's going to have to weave a story together that takes into account all of the evidence that's presented in the government's weeks of presentation and also all of the statements he made before," she noted.
