Vivien R. Krieger, Rachel Scall, and Sunny Bhatt will be leading the Cozen O’Connor team, which will include Rebecca Eschen, Marnie R. Kudon, Jennifer D. Miller, Adam H. Morsy, Scott J. Pashman, Mateo Rendon, and Zachary Samton, in providing legal support to the Local Center initiative in New York City, which was formed by the Design Forum and the Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development. The objective of this initiative is to revitalize public spaces in the city by empowering neighborhood leaders with the necessary resources and support.

The initiative has chosen five design teams to collaborate with five neighborhood partners on transforming public spaces. These design teams will assist the partners in developing temporary vision plans that celebrate local cultural identities and share neighborhood histories. The design team involvement will also encompass creative community outreach, schematic design, temporary activation, and vision planning.

Vivien, Rachel, and Sunny’s knowledge and experience will play a vital role in facilitating the transformation of these public spaces. The team will be responsible for ensuring that all proposed projects comply with permits and essential legal documentation.
