Michael Osborne was quoted in a Financial Post article discussing the Competition Tribunal’s order for the Competition Bureau to pay over $12 million in legal fees and compensation after it failed in its bid to block the Rogers Communications and Shaw Communications merger. “I think the award should have been higher. It’s in the order of five percent of their actual costs, which I think is miserly, but I get the reasoning,” said Michael.
