Tuesday, October 11, 2022

Michael Klein provides an update on a few of the many lawsuits impacting the water sector that are the result of PFAS and PFOA levels in groundwater, surface freshwater, and drinking water. Michael’s article in The Water News Source analyzes lawsuits similar to the suit filed by the Municipal Water Authority of Westmoreland County. The article also looks at guidance released by the EPA in August 2022 for public water systems to develop and maintain a service line inventory with their efforts to develop inventories and provide stats with needed information for oversight and reporting to the EPA.
