Miami, Fla. – September 30th, 2022 - Cozen O’Connor announced that Jason Domark, a member in the firm’s Miami office, has been appointed co-chair of both the International Litigation subcommittee and the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) subcommittee for the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Commercial and Business Litigation Committee.
Lawyers from all over the country make up the members of the ABA. The Commercial and Business Litigation Committee focuses on issues facing litigators with broad commercial practices, including bankruptcy, creditor rights, professional liability and trade secret law, as well as procedural matters such as e-discovery, privilege, ADR and international litigation. The primary responsibility of the subcommittees is to create and provide the extensive content for CLE programs, the commercial and business litigation webpage, the committee’s newsletter and other educational and practical information for attorneys who practice in this area of law.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to collaborate with other lawyers from all over the country on these important practice areas and issues,” said Domark. “I’m looking forward to all that we accomplish this year and being a valuable member of the subcommittees.”
In February 2022, Domark, along with other attorneys from the firm, authored multiple chapters of an American Bar Association book titled Litigating Fiduciary Duty Claims. Additionally, Domark served as editor of the publication.
Recently promoted to shareholder, Domark focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on international litigation, fiduciary litigation and real estate related litigation. He received his undergraduate degree, with high honors, and his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami.
