ATLANTA, January 14, 2022 — Alycen Moss, co-chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Property Insurance Group, was named a fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC), the preeminent association that represents the interests of insurers and policyholders in disputes arising out of insurance policies.
Moss concentrates her practice in civil litigation and has extensive experience with matters pertaining to property and casualty insurance. Moss regularly advises property and casualty carriers on coverage issues and defends carriers in lawsuits brought by insureds. Moss also handles life, health, disability, and commercial general liability claims. Additionally, she has litigated numerous coverage issues, including bad faith, punitive damages, and deceptive trade practices claims.
“The ACCC is delighted to welcome Alycen Moss as the latest member to become actively involved in its work,” said Sherilyn Pastor, president of ACCC.
The ACCC, established in 2012, is an invitation-only organization of senior lawyers who have devoted most of their practice to insurance disputes for 15 years or more. The ACCC’s fellows include many of the most prominent members of the insurance law bars of the United States and Canada, as well as honorary fellows from academia and the judiciary.
The ACCC focuses on educating all sectors involved in the field of insurance law — including the judiciary, legal and insurance professionals, law students, and businesses — on cutting edge, emerging, and critical issues such as developing trends in insurance law and bad faith, trial practice and alternative dispute resolution, policy formation, and claims handling.
