Patrick Martin was quoted in Law360 discussing the future of the cannabis industry now that the Senate is Democrat. "There is optimism certainly among Democratic activists [and] donors, that if Dems win these two seats there's going to be the ability for transformational change on certain issues," said Patrick. "What [this is] likely to deliver is slow, incremental change. I don't think the assumption is correct that things are going to get streamlined … with majorities this tight," he said.
