PHILADELPHIA, May 21, 2021 — Cozen O’Connor is proud to announce that it has joined the Alliance for Asian American Justice, a national pro bono initiative committed to standing up for victims, and preventing future acts, of anti-Asian hate.

The Alliance for Asian American Justice is a nationwide coalition of more than 45 law firms and 17 general counsel from Fortune 1000 companies committed to providing “culturally responsive” legal support in the wake of a surge in reported hate crimes against Asian Americans. The Alliance will coordinate and drive law firm pro bono resources on behalf of victims to assist and support them in obtaining legal remedies. This may include providing victims with counsel to bring lawsuits to seek compensatory and other civil remedies or working with law enforcement to ensure that perpetrators are held accountable.

The National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the Asian Americans Advancing Justice are also members.
