Michael Klein authored an article in the Pennsylvania American Water Works Association’s quarterly magazine, The Water News Source, on regulations related to PFAS contamination. The article explains that because maximum contamination levels have not yet been established at a federal level, many states are working to develop their own regulations to help guide clean-up and drinking water treatment efforts. The article also analyzes a decision of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania discussing the limits of the PAPUC’s jurisdiction over municipal authorities and drinking water treatment chemicals.
