Ann-Marie Luciano and Jawaria Gilani published an article in the January 8 edition of CyberSecurity Law Report setting out practical steps companies can take to reduce the likelihood of a data breach.  The article analyzed recent State Attorney General and Federal Trade Commission enforcement actions and identified eight best practices in the categories of access control, threat awareness, and advanced technical security measures.
